Eagle Hunting Trip in Western Mongolia
This trip is very unique with its way of hunting. It
is not a typical artificial eagle festival with foxes and wolves trained in
advance to be hunted by fat eagles. But it is a hunting trip with trained
eagles who are hungry to hunt animals such as foxes and wolves on the hot
spots. If you are lucky enough, you will eyewitness the catch on the mountains.
The trip will last between 5-10 days. Duration can be changed upon
request. It is organized anytime from end of October to the end of
February every year starting from 2011.
Tour Details
Day 1 - Arrive
to Ulaanbaatar.
Day 2 - Fly to Olgii. Drive out of Olgii to Altay south west of Olgii, 120kms. Arrive at eagle falconer house.
Day 3 - Ride on horses and go to mountains to start doing the real hunting activity.
Day 4 - Do full day of hunting with eagles. In the morning and go to Ice fishing in the afternoon and in the evening we will organize a five finger feast a Nomadic ceremony. Overnight.
Day 5 - Drive back to Olgii.
Day 6 - Fly out of Olgii to Ulaanbaatar. Picked up in Ulaanbaatar and drive to Flower hotel. Overnight.
Day 7 - Drive to Airport and fly out to home country.
End of Trip
